Tonight's game was a great defensive battle. It was nice to see our defense finally playing aggressively. Our offense looked good too against a great Iowa defense. Here is a breakdown of the game from Wisconsin State Journal:
Fourth-quarter rally pushes No. 9 Wisconsin past Iowa 17-13
By CHRIS JENKINS, AP Sports Writer
MADISON, Wis. (AP) No. 9 Wisconsin needed a fourth-quarter rally to avoid an upset bid by Iowa, turning to P.J. Hill for the go-ahead score in a 17-13 victory Saturday night.
Nothing came easy for the Badgers (4-0, 1-0 Big Ten), who gradually overcame a stingy Hawkeyes defense to extend their winning streak to 13 games - the longest active streak in major college football. [read more]

The rally that saved D. Roman's weekend;)! Now that the Badgers beat Iowa, I want them to go all the way to the Rose Bowl. Looks like Nov. 3 will decide it.
Congrats to the Badgers! At least somebody on the list managed a win yesterday. After Penn St., ND, and Carolina (and my beloved Cent. Mich. Chippewas) all fell, I didn't watch the Wisconsin game. I'm glad they won. I would love to see them undefeated and going for the national championship.
Mike,
Thank you for taking it easy on me. I promise not to do the same for you;-) Notre Dame 0-4, I am ashamed to have lived to see it. To be honest I didn't think North Carolina could win, but being my heritage I have to support them. I did think that Penn State would win though, so it came as a complete shock. The Big Ten is definitely Wisconsin's to lose now.
One Mom,
I would also love to see them win the National Championship and go undefeated. My condolences on Central Michigan. To be honest, I don't know anything about them. Though, obviously I do know what it is like to have your team lose. I was imagining Mike's comment if Iowa had won, they could have. Basically we won the game on one throw being an inch too long.
The "CHIPS" are a MAC school in central Michigan (imagine that!). Last year they were the MAC champs and won the motor city bowl. They have what is arguably one of the best quarterbacks in the country (and he's only a sophomore). The end of October they play Clemson (my goodness!). The news around SC is that people should go to the Clemson/CMU game if for no other reason than to see Central's q-back, because they feel he may be the best q-back they face all season.
One Mom,
Thanks for the information. Being a child of the ACC I am still learning the Yankee teams;-) I'll have to look up your QB online.
