This is a man (if that is what you consider being a man is) that Huckabee preaches is a conservative and obviously (although not openly) hopes to help by remaining in a race he obviously cannot win. He has teamed up with McCain in cheap, dirty and even false attacks against Mitt Romney, yet they cry foul whenever Romney does what a self respecting Presidential candidate is supposed to do when campaigning and calls them out on their flawed stands and on the issues effecting everday Americans.I would hardly call McCain's womanizing, questionable military record or liberal agenda as conservative and I also question the judgement and intentions of Huckabee for his bizarre attacks against a conservative, Christian candidate like Romney. Here are a few bits from Pro Patria I found on the real McCain and there is much more if you wish to link to it.
McCain’s grades were “marginal.” He drew so many demerits for breaking curfew and other discipline issues that he graduated fifth from the bottom of the class of 1958. Despite his low “class standing,” and no doubt because of the influence of his family of famous Admirals, McCain was leap-frogged ahead of more qualified applicants and granted a coveted slot to be trained as a navy pilot.
Promoting unqualified applicants to positions when they obviously lack the necessary skills is a dangerous brew.
McCain, the “below par” pilot, eventually lost 5 military aircraft, the first during a training flight in 1958 when he plunged into Corpus Christi Bay while trying to land. The Navy ignored the crash and graduated McCain in 1960.
If a pilot cannot even meet "par" in the skills needed to successfully fly an aircraft, why would you make him a flight instructor?
Upon his release from North Vietnam and return to the United States in 1973, McCain reunited with his wife, Carol, who had been permanently crippled in a car accident while he was a POW.
....
While Executive Officer and later as Squadron Commander McCain used his authority to arrange frequent flights that allowed him to carouse with subordinates and “engage in extra-marital affairs.”
Are these the actions of a conservative?
In 1979, while attending a military reception in Hawaii, McCain met and fell in love with Cindy Lou Hensley, 17 years his junior, who was the daughter of James W. Hensley, a wealthy Anheuser-Busch distributor from Phoenix, Arizona. McCain filed for and obtained an uncontested divorce from his wife in Florida on April 2, 1980 and promptly married Cindy on May 17, 1980.

This is a man that former Pastor Mike Huckabee praises and admires.
I don't know about you, but to me this is not the record of a conservative or even a great military leader and certainly not a foot soldier in the Reagan Revolution. I see the record of a man who benefited from the accomplishments of his father and grandfather in his "below par" military record, (this in no way takes away from his time as a POW, but that also does not make you fit for the Presidency), I see a man with few, if any, family values as a conservative understands them, I see a man whose temper flares with contempt when his agenda is challenged, as has been witnessed on many occasions in the Senate, and who would say anything to get the power of the Presidency.
In no definition of the word is McCain conservative. Ask your self this; Do you really want to see a senior citizen version of Bill Clinton times ten in the White House besmirching the name of the Republican Party?

Mitt Romney?
The Mitt Romney Report
Just more dirty attacks by Huckabee supporters, and of course anonymously.
Romney's health care plan is more expensive now because significant additions have been made since he left office and digging up all those old, tired quotes is really pathetic. Gov. Romney had an honest change of heart. Isn't that the whole point? To educate people so they will join us in our struggle for our Republic?
How do we ever expect to bring this nation back to its founding principles if we are so closed minded as to never accept real change in good people.
Gov. Romney, once faced with actually governing, had a fairly conservative record. Is he perfect? No, but neither are any of the other remaining candidates. Gov. Romney is actually pushing conservative values unlike McCain or Huckabee.
