YOUR VOTE COULD CHANGE AMERICA FOR BETTER OR FOR WORSE - Don't Fall For The Conservative In Name Only, Vote For Mitt Romney

Let's cut through all the garbage and get to the simple truth. McCain is not a conservative, he is not even a Republican. You cannot claim a label unless you earn the label. You earn the label by establishing the record of the label. The only record McCain has is that of a Democrat outcast (or maybe a want-to-be). Anyone who says he is conservative has no clue what the word means.

Conservative is not a coat you can put on and take off when it serves your best interests; it is a life style. McCain has certainly not lived that life style. His unfaithfulness to his wife, who was disfigured in a car accident during his captivity, is hardly what I would describe as conservative behavior. Neither is pushing for amnesty, then backing off into secrecy when the country cries out against it. Listen to what he says when asked if he still supports amnesty and if he would push for it, he says that bill will not be voted on. Of course not, it will be a different bill by then. He is not telling you that there will be no amnesty; he is telling you he will secure the border first then push through a new amnesty. It is not what he is saying, it is what he is not saying.

Another thing that bothering me immensely; Huckabee is obviously campaigning to hurt Romney. Since there is no way for Huckabee to win the nomination the only reason to remain in would be to take votes away from the opponent. He takes votes away from Romney, not McCain. Therefore, the way I see it, Huckabee must be bidding for a position in the McCain administration. Huckabee is campaigning on a religious and liberal platform and is hardly a conservative himself. His big government and nanny state plans would leave us with less freedom and more socialism.

If you call yourself a conservative I ask that you consider what it really means. If you are for protecting the Constitution as intended by the Founding Fathers, if you are for Federalism, national security and sovereignty, strong military and foreign policy, the protection of all life and a strong economy once again then you must throw your support behind Mitt Romney now. Yes people can change what they believe in life, McCain has not changed what he believes. He still believes in amnesty, he still defends McCain/Feingold as not being an infringement upon the 1st Amendment, he still claims he is pro-life even though he fully supports embryonic stem cell research - the destruction of unborn life.

McCain keeps running on his military service and captivity as national security experience. I am sorry, but that does not fly. If this is experience needed for the Presidency then there are a lot of people in Iraq with qualifying national security experience with true conservative stands. He runs on his past like Giuliani ran on 9-11, it is disgraceful and in poor taste. He claims a fake reputation of running in the mold of Ronald Reagan. He is not even a shadow of what Ronald Reagan was.

This is the man that Huckabee would rather see become President over Mitt Romney. "Huck himself believes that if republicans don't pick him they should pick McCain and not Romney." Neither of these men are conservative. If Romney does not win the nomination Conservatives should not stay at home. Not voting does not make a statement, it only hands the nomination to a liberal.

When you become discouraged the best thing to do is ban together and fight back. If McCain wins the nomination don't give him the Presidency, make a loud and clear statement and vote third party. When the third party votes increase by volumes they will not be able to ignore it. Would it not be better to have four years of a Democratic President take the blame for the down fall of the economy and national security then to destroy the Republican Party with the pathetic pandering of McCain or Huckabee?

Place your vote carefully and thoughtfully in this primary, there is more at stake than many realize including the Supreme Court, national security, the economy and the future of the Republican Party. There is only one true Conservative that can win the General Election and that is Mitt Romney.
