Good News For McCain/Palin In Wisconsin

Some may consider this a small thing, but I am excited. In 2006 there was almost no excitement for the Republican candidates in our part of the state. This election was starting out the same way until Palin was put on the ticket. But, the biggest shock happened today. When I went out in the snow/sleet to get my children off the bus I turned around and could not believe what I saw. It was McCain/Palin signs all the way down our street.

In 2006 we were the only house to have Republican signs on our street. We live in a Republican county, but a very Democrat controlled city. Matter of fact, most offices are uncontested because it is assumed that the Democrats will win. So, if our city, and unfortunately we live in one of the more Democrat parts of the city right by the college, is going for McCain/Palin then their future in this state looks bright for November 4.

I also noticed that our quickly growing Hispanic population appears to be supporting McCain/Palin over Obama/Biden going by signs and people coming into our county headquarters.

That's great about the signs ... but, SNOW and SLEET!? That's uncalled for.

Yea, snow and sleet already? (I love snow, sleet, however, sucks)

Glad to hear Wisconsin shook off the cobwebs!

I thought it was uncalled for too. There wasn't any accumulation just flakes mixed with sleet rain, but it definitely had me longing for Dixie.

Anonymous,

I am not a fan or snow or sleet. I am only in Wisconsin temporarily, but I plan on leaving it redder than I found it.
