MORE DEAD BABIES FOUND IN MICHIGAN DUMPSTERS

WASHINGTON, D.C. (08 May 2008) – Shortly after the gruesome discovery of aborted babies in a dumpster behind Dr. Alberto Hodari’s Womancare abortion facility in early March, Citizens for a Pro-Life Society discovered the mutilated bodies of aborted babies in another dumpster at Women’s Advisory Clinic in Livonia, Michigan, owned by Dr. Reginald Sharpe.

“It is indeed representative of the evil times in which we live that we must stop and take time to grieve the loss of children whose parents clearly believed they were disposable in much the same way that rotting garbage would be,” said Brown “America is losing her soul.”

The bodies of at least six aborted babies were discovered in trash bags containing McDonald’s food wrappers, Olive Garden crackers, medical records and bloody medical waste. Following an April 30 investigation by the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality, Sharpe received only a warning and no fines, as was the case with Hodari.

“Dr. Monica Miller’s most recent discovery is not only bone chilling, but a somber reminder of the total disregard for the rights of those human beings who have not yet been born,” said Judie Brown, president of American Life League. “We are told that the bodies of the babies found behind Reginald Sharpe’s abortion facility are legally defined as mere biohazardous waste and are thus treated as such. After all, that is the law.”

Earlier this week, Bishop John Quinn of the Detroit diocese offered a funeral Mass for the 25 aborted babies found behind Hodari’s facility in Lathrup Village. “We are grateful to Bishop Quinn for giving these babies the dignity and respect they were denied when they were tossed in the trash," said Brown. “We pray that the remains of these most recent victims will be treated with equal respect.”

American Life League was cofounded in 1979 by Judie Brown. It is the largest grassroots Catholic pro-life organization in the United States and is committed to the protection of all innocent human beings from the moment of creation to natural death. Catholic League News Release

OBAMA’S CATHOLIC ADVISORS RESPOND

On May 2, Catholic League president Bill Donohue issued a news release urging Sen. Barack Obama to dissolve his Catholic National Advisory Council. Donohue did so because not one of the 26 former and current public policy holders who constitute the group stand with the Catholic Church on all three major issues: abortion, embryonic stem cell research and school vouchers. He provided evidence that the overwhelming majority of these advisors agreed with NARAL, the most pro-abortion group in the nation, 100 percent of the time. Now the group has written to Donohue protesting his remarks (click
here to read it).

Donohue answered them today:

“The reason I mentioned only public officials who are part of Sen. Obama’s Catholic National Advisory Council is the same reason I chose just three public policy issues: voting tallies are available on these advisors (but not on the others) and on these three issues. If I knew more about the others, no doubt some would have made the cut.

“It is more than embarrassing—it is shocking—to read how these Catholics view abortion. The Catholic Church regards abortion, as well as embryonic stem cell research, as ‘intrinsically evil.’ But not these folks. For them, abortion is merely ‘a profound moral issue.’

“Sadly, it has been apparent for years that many who fancy themselves ‘progressive’ Catholics do not treat abortion the way they do racial discrimination. No one in his right mind says that the best way to combat racial discrimination is by changing people’s hearts and minds, not the law. Which is why we do both. But when it comes to abortion—including partial-birth abortion—the progressives settle for dialogue.

“It is so nice to know that Obama thinks abortion ‘presents a profound moral challenge.’ Is infanticide another ‘profound moral challenge’? To wit: When he was in the Illinois state senate he led the fight to deny health care to
babies born alive who survived an abortion. That, my friends, is not a moral challenge—it’s a Hitlerian decision.”

If I Were President by Chuck Baldwin May 2, 2008

Due to my frequent criticisms of President George W. Bush, I am often asked what I would do if I were President of these United States. This column will serve as an attempt to answer that question.

If I were President, I would begin the process of safely extracting our troops from Iraq. In the first place, our troops are no longer fighting a war, they are an occupation force, which occupies a sovereign country. And this is being done without a Declaration of War. The Iraqi people resent our occupation as much as we would resent another nation stronger than ours invading and occupying America. If such a thing happened to our beloved country, I'm sure many of us would also become "insurgents."

In the second place, the invasion and occupation of Iraq was absolutely unnecessary. Instead of sacrificing more than 4,000 American lives and the lives of tens of thousands of Iraqi citizens (not to mention some 2-3 trillion dollars), President Bush should have supported Ron Paul's bill, H.R. 3076, the September 11 Marque and Reprisal Act of 2001. This is the constitutional way to deal with rogue terrorist organizations. This is the way President Thomas Jefferson responded to the Barbary pirates.

According to Congressman Paul, "A letter of marque and reprisal is a constitutional tool specifically designed to give the President the authority to respond with appropriate force to those non-state actors who wage aggression against the United States while limiting his authority to only those responsible for the atrocities of that day. Such a limited authorization is consistent with the doctrine of just war and the practical aim of keeping Americans safe while minimizing the costs in blood and treasure of waging such an operation."

Had President Bush responded in this manner, tens of thousands of lives would have been saved, trillions of dollars would not have needed to be spent, Osama bin Laden and most of his fellow terrorists would likely be dead, and we would not be bogged down in a nightmarish military quagmire in Iraq. And, if I were President, this is exactly how I would handle terrorist organizations such as al Qaeda.

Furthermore, it is absolutely ludicrous to say we are fighting a war on terror half way around the world when we refuse to secure our borders and ports. If I were President, I would immediately seal our borders. I would also see to it that employers in America who knowingly hire illegal aliens are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. In plain language: any employer who consciously hires illegal aliens would go to jail. They would not pass Go; they would not collect $200; they would go straight to jail.

By sealing the borders and by cutting off the money supply to illegal aliens, the problem of illegal immigration would dry up. As it is, we have no idea how many potential terrorists--not to mention violent gang members such as MS-13--have snuck (and are sneaking) through our borders.

And speaking of illegal immigration, as President, I would enforce our visa rules. This means anyone who overstays their visa or otherwise violates U.S. law is immediately deported. There would be no "path to citizenship" given to any illegal alien. That means no amnesty. Not in any shape, manner, or form. I would not allow tax dollars to be used to pay for illegal aliens' education, social services, or medical care. As President, I would end birthright citizenship for illegal aliens. There would be no "anchor babies" during my administration. [

Fred Smith Falls Short

Unfortunately, my candidate for North Carolina Governor, Fred Smith, did not win tonight. I have not decided if I will endorse the winner, Pat McCrory, but here is Fred Smith's thank you to all of his supporters.

Thank you to all my supporters

When I said I wanted to visit every one of North Carolina's 100 counties, talking to the citizens of this great state and finding out what they wanted in a governor, I was told that was not the way to run a statewide campaign. I was told it couldn't be done, but I decided that was the only way I would run for governor. With the help of incredible supporters all over the state, we accomplished something most said was impossible. Although we fell short in the end, I wouldn't do it any other way. Thank you, every one, for the amazing work you have done over the past year. I have had confirmed what I always knew -- that the most valuable resource of the state is her hardworking, God fearing, family oriented people. I appreciate all your time and effort on behalf of the campaign. Please stay involved in the process because working together we really can make a difference in the lives of the people of North Carolina. I have pledged my full support to Pat McCrory to do whatever is in my power to help elect a Republican governor in November to change the culture in Raleigh and fix our broken government.

McCain Is Back To His Old Game

The news that John McCain is cozying up to La Raza once again comes as no surprise. I won't go into much detail because Michelle Malkin and Michigan Redneck II have it covered, but I will encourage Conservatives out there that even though all the major Presidential candidates are pro-amnesty there are several good men and women running for Senate, House, and local races who will not sell out this republic's sovereignty. I strongly encourage you to get behind these candidates in every way that you can for the sake of our republic and our children.

On the McCain front, contrary to what the Hannity's of the world will tell you, a vote for Bob Barr or Chuck Baldwin is not a vote for the Democrats. It is a principled vote for the future of this republic and our own personal values.

Here is a great Top Ten to end on a positive note. Top 10 reasons McCain should repudiate the National Council of La Raza

Senate GOP Plans to Unveil Tough New Immigration Bills

By Los Angeles Times, on 03-05-2008 11:44
Senate Republicans are set to announce Wednesday the hardest-hitting package of immigration enforcement measures seen yet -- one that would require jail time for illegal immigrants caught crossing the border, make it harder for them to open bank accounts and compel them to communicate in English when dealing with federal agencies.

Tuesday, May 06, 2008 Statement on HB2807 By Andrew Thomas, County Attorney

I am disappointed that Governor Napolitano vetoed legislation that would have ended so-called 'sanctuary city' policies. HB2807 sought to eliminate policies that prevent peace officers from inquiring as to the immigration status of suspects and reporting that information to federal authorities. The bill would have also encouraged law enforcement agencies to team up with Immigration and Customs Enforcement to train officers to investigate violations of federal immigration law. [read more]

OBAMA MUST START THE PURGE

Catholic League president Bill Donohue commented today on the religious divide which is splitting Sen Obama’s supporters:

“The secularization of the Democratic party, which first became evident in the 1972 presidential race, was openly challenged by Barack Obama when he spoke at the 2004 Democratic presidential convention. To his credit, he has since galvanized people of faith to rally to his side, but ever since his problems with Rev. Wright he has come under fire by radical secularists. In short, there is a tug of war going on among Democratic activists pitting the secularists against the faithful.

“In today’s Chicago Tribune, Katha Pollitt not only criticizes Rev. Wright, she takes the opportunity to smear almost the entire nation. She says that ‘thanks to Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr., the Democrats have got religion and everything that goes with it—weirdness, wrath, insult, blowhardiness, vanity, paranoia, divisiveness and trouble.’ Her hatred of religion wouldn’t matter so much if she were simply a writer for the Nation. However, she is also a prominent supporter of Sen. Obama: She joined hands with Frances Kissling, a notorious anti-Catholic, to endorse him in a publicly signed statement.

“We know where Pollitt is coming from. After all, any person who likes Catholic bashing is well known to the Catholic League. For example, when the Brooklyn Museum of Art displayed a portrait of Our Blessed Mother adorned with elephant dung and pictures of vaginas and anuses, she opined that ‘The Holy Virgin Mary is a funny, jazzy, rather sweet painting.’

“Obama is not responsible for Pollitt’s bigotry and he does not need to renounce her. But what he must do is start the purge—he must rid his ranks of those who want to silence religion. First out of the box to aid him must be Catholics. They can cite what Pope Benedict XVI recently said in Washington: ‘Any tendency to treat religion as a private matter must be resisted.’ Purging the Pollitts from his base would reassure the faithful that they have a place in his campaign.”

Gaza bomb maker was also UN school headmaster

Tuesday, May 06, 2008 by Staff Writer

Gaza bomb maker was also UN school headmaster

A senior Gaza terrorist bomb maker killed in a pinpoint Israeli military strike last week was revealed on Tuesday to have also been the headmaster of a local United Nations school.

Following his death, Gaza's Hamas rulers hailed Awad Al-Qiq as a martyr and praised him for his years of work as the head engineer of the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization's bomb-making unit.

Reuters reported that the revelation of Al-Qiq's double life as a school headmaster and science teacher had caused great embarrassment to the UN Relief and Works Agency, which runs the school. The agency has been repeatedly accused by Israel of aiding and even putting Palestinian terrorists on its payroll.
