Star Parker has written a thoroughly thought provoking article that I had to point out to everyone. We are so quick to delight in the destruction of our own and so slow to forgive. Often we will put up with horrendous atrocities being committed by the other side with hardly a thought being given to it.
If you believe in the Bible you have to believe in redemption and forgiveness or you don't truly believe in the Bible. There is a difference between just asking for forgiveness and actually working to obtain forgiveness. The question is, is there any room in our hearts to grant it.
