Even we Yanks are brought up to respect General Lee; an officer and a gentlemen. Interesting that most of these Generals really were admirable men. Imagine how horrified they'd be today to see the state of our union? That they really do know brings shame enough.
He really was an example for all generations. I am glad I don't have to see the horror that would be on any of our great leaders' faces if they saw what we have turned into. I don't even want to have to explain to my kids how we have become what we have.
