Gov. Sarah Palin leaves Alaska with a most precious parting gift by signing the Alaskan Sovereignty Resolution. Alaska now claims their sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment of the Constitution. Their House passed the resolution and Senate passed it with no negative votes (3 not-voting in the House). What a victory for Alaska and what a show by Gov. Palin.

Gov. Sarah Palin leaves Alaska with a most precious parting gift by signing the Alaskan Sovereignty Resolution. Alaska now claims their sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment of the Constitution. Their House passed the resolution and Senate passed it with no negative votes (3 not-voting in the House). What a victory for Alaska and what a show by Gov. Palin.

Congratulations to Alaska. I have no doubt our own tenth amendment resolution will be laughed out of the democratically controlled legislature.
Sadly, that is almost a certainty.
