Members of Congress Concerned Obama Health Care Agenda Includes Abortions

People will always be divided between pro-choice and pro-life and whatever is done, one group will be unhappy. So this news doesn't really surprise me. Those people just need to deal with it, nothing can be done about it now.

Lorne,

I don't know enough about how it works in Canada to respond about your government, but in our Republic the states are supposed to have total authority over issues like abortion. If you didn't like abortion you can move to a pro-life state and if you support it you can move to a pro-choice state. All of the anger over this issue could have been avoided if the Supreme Court had not violated the Tenth Amendment and taken power they were never meant to have. Some day the power will be returned to the states. For the first time in my life I believe we are nearer to that goal.
