The Latest From Gov. Palin

I wanted to post a couple of former Gov. Palin's Facebook posts. The first is on her interview with Rush Limbaugh yesterday. I was listening live and I thought the interview went extremely well and finally started to deal with her policy stands. I would like to hear more on her views on how we fix illegal immigration and our undermanned and overworked military.

Rush Limbaugh Interview

I had a great conversation with Rush today. We spoke about the issues facing our nation, the future of the Republican party and touched on other great topics.

The last one I want to repost for you deals with the sexist Newsweek cover. I want to say as a husband and a father of three daughters, in my opinion, it was not only sexist, but purposely so to undermine Palin and to make her look like nothing more than a sex symbol. I would hope that the backlash is severe enough that this kind of demeaning of women would end. I will never buy another one of their publications and I used to be a subscriber, but canceled long ago due to their liberal bias.

Newsweek

The choice of photo for the cover of this week's Newsweek is unfortunate. When it comes to Sarah Palin, this "news" magazine has relished focusing on the irrelevant rather than the relevant. The Runner's World magazine one-page profile for which this photo was taken was all about health and fitness - a subject to which I am devoted and which is critically important to this nation. The out-of-context Newsweek approach is sexist and oh-so-expected by now. If anyone can learn anything from it: it shows why you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, gender, or color of skin. The media will do anything to draw attention - even if out of context.

If only she would stop being so bloody 'American' and get back in her 'place' as a strong 'liberal' woman--then the Body (and Soul) Snatchers could be at peace again...

They are just going to have to deal with her as she is; she isn't going to change anything.
