This is a subject that I am really passionate about. In fact I so disagree with the perverted and intrusive body searches and naked body scanners I have forever given up my dream to someday visit Ireland and parts of Europe. I will not willingly participate in the mass rape of people forced to make a decision to traveling and being violated.
I don't care what any liberal's justification or downplay of this intrusion of privacy is it is wrong. Not that it wasn't bad enough already now they are going to switch from back-of-the hand to palms first body searches? This is turning into nothing but legalized rape of people who may not have a choice but to fly.
I will say this; there is nothing in this world, not even a death in the family, that will get me to willingly subject myself to this immoral abuse of power. I don't swallow the BS that it changes anything about security and that security is their focus with intrusions like this. Don't for one second think that your scans are not saved, that being negatives they cannot be developed into an actual pictures, and that the people viewing this information and conducting these pat downs are not getting something out of it.
I would love to see a movement in mass of people who refuse to be abused anymore just for the privilege to travel. If airlines suddenly lost their pants financially because people refuse to be legally raped anymore things would change, that much is certain.
