Do School Children Have Constitutional Rights?

Apparently not, and the latest example is in Virginia. I can't believe how many so-called Conservatives or even Libertarians are willing to make exceptions to our liberties. I missed the part where our founding fathers said that the Constitution does not apply in our schools.

Safety is almost always the excuse for trampling our Constitutional rights. In this case the excuse is bullying, but it is really just more proof that we do not live in a free Republic anymore. Our schools are almost incapable of even teaching our children the basics; they certainly are not legal experts who should be entrusted with this kind of authority.

Our rights come from God, not the government. The government's rights come from us; something they have forgotten.
