What a great holiday week. We had tons of family time and a great visit from some friends we have not seen in a while. Today we finally go our first snow accumulation of the year. We have previously had a few flakes, but nothing that stuck.
Thanksgiving was a blast. The only disappointment was the turkey. We always get around a 28 pound bird, however this year we had a freezer full of venison and had to wait to buy the turkey. We ended up with a 13 pound bird. Needless to say, there were no seconds. Not that I need seconds;-) Just left more room for extra pie. Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and don't forget it is family that matters most.
One of my favorites quotes is "The way to love anything is to realize it might be lost" - G. K. Chesterton.
